因为学分转换，差点让我没办法按时毕业。一切的根源都来自COMP8503 & COMP8521。

事件背景

2023年，我从华东师范大学软件工程系毕业，并收到了UNSW的信息技术硕士（8543，Master of Information Technology）的offer，从2024年2月（24T1）入学，就读方向（Specialisation）为Information Technology（COMPMS8543），学制为两年。由于我的本科专业，UNSW给我免除了48个学分，合8门课、3学期、1学年。这样，我只需要修48学分，8门课、3学期、1学年，即可毕业。

我按照这个免除学分的内容，以及专业手册的要求，安排了我三个学期的课程：

2024.2 - 2024.8（24T1 & 24T2）：正常上学。
2024.9 - 2025.8：计划休假（Program Leave）在国内找个实习。
2025.9 - 2025.12（25T3）：上学，毕业。

本文撰写于2025年8月18日，因此其实前两步都按部就班地进行，第三步的选课也已经完成，就等着开学上学拿毕业证。

然后就不出意外地出意外了。

意外出现

起因是我刷到某书上提到了UNSW使用了MyPlan作为学业进程管理平台。

我之前一直都不知道学校还有这平台，我都是照着我的手册上各个类别的课程需要修多少个学分，哪些课程属于哪个类别，哪些课程有前置条件等一个个手动查询，然后按学期排布好的，堪称纯人工没有智能。当我打开MyPlan的时候，我信心满满地认为我一定把自己的课程管理得非常好，我不需要这个平台也能规划好学业。

然后我的血液在看到页面的时候凝固了。

MyPlan显示：

60 taken （已经免的/修完的）
18 Registered （25T3注册的）
18 remaining

为什么会有18个学分还没有修？18个学分不是小数目，如果我得补齐它，我得多交额外的20000+澳币的学费，并且还得被迫在澳洲呆到26T1结束。这都不是最重要的，最重要的是它会把我的毕业证时间从2026.1到2026.6，但我已经跟秋招的公司谈妥了会在年后入职，如果这个时候变卦，沟通成本和信任成本是非常高的。

问题原因

我立刻查找到底是哪18个学分没有修，最后发现是有两门课的状态是Unmatched Courses：

COMP8503：6UOC，"6 Units of Credit in Computer Science and Engineering"
COMP8521：12UOC，"12 Units of Credit Advanced Disciplinary Knowledge Electives"

怎么可能呢？这两门课明明被免除掉了学分才对。

COMP8521的原因被标注为：

"Can count for: Specialisation Options > Data Science and Engineering [COMPPS8543] > Data Science and Engineering"

这也就是说我的专业选错了，如果我选Data Science and Engineering [COMPPS8543]的话，我就能免这12个学分。但是问题在于，我从来都不是Data Science and Engineering的学生，我的Offer写的就是Information Technology。

COMP8503更是奇怪，它没有任何的Count For限制，也没有前置先修的限制，没有任何地方标识它处于Unmatched Courses的原因。

尝试解决

发现问题之后，我立刻通过Student Web Forms，在myPlan Enquiries类别下发送了一份问题声明函。简单来说，我表明了这两门课在MyPlan上存在问题，希望让他们检查一下，如果可以就给我改一下，加进我已经taken的学分里。

同时，为了以防万一，比如学校说“这个学分就是你必须选这个专业才可以免得呀”、“我们无权调整计划”等等最坏的情况出现，我在Student Web Form的Overload Studies下申请了Study Overload。这样我可以尽快把这些多余的学分修完。

学校回复

我是在周二的凌晨发出的MyPlan工单和Study Overload的申请，周二上午便收到了Study Overload的通过申请，可能是系统自动处理的，只要已经拿到的学分够了、均分要求够了，学校就会直接同意。我在Study Overload的结果邮件中回复了MyPlan工单相关的问题，希望他们帮忙也查看一下。

到了周五，Study Overload再次回复，表示已经将请求转达给MyPlan专家团队，并内部升级了这个工单。

第二周周一，我收到回复，已经将这18个学分调整至Taken，我不需要多修任何一门课，并且能在25T3修完后如期毕业。

真是长舒一口气。

最后

我是周二凌晨一点钟发现这个问题之后，火速检查问题并撰写了相关工单。等我合上电脑上床睡觉的时候天已经蒙蒙亮了。虽然学校向来回复的都很慢，但是我在等待结果的这两天一直都是非常焦虑的，甚至每隔十几分钟都会拿出手机看一眼Gmail，晚上很难睡安稳，一闭眼就是学校拒绝了我的请求，9月初飞回悉尼之后预约Student Hub的面议，然后线下去和他们争论的场景。我甚至已经想好了怎么开口，怎么据理力争，怎么请求学校重新检查。

不能按时毕业的代价太大了，我承受不起。

还好最后的结果是好的，仅凭这一点我就要给学校的工作态度点赞。学校非常干脆利落地给我解决了问题，让我下学期申请的Study Overload失去了用武之地（还好没派上用场）。
